Planet10-hifi Fostex-based
drivers on Special Order
We will tackle almost any Fostex driver that we can get. Most commonly requested
have been FE166/167/206/207, but we have done others including F120A, FX120, FE103,
FE83, FE108eS, FE168eS. Customers have sent us their FE166eSR, FE206eSR.
The FExx6 series is now limited toFE166eN2 and FE206eN2, based
on the new Fostex FE166En & FE206En drivers and EnABL2. The FF165wKeN & FF225wKeN
now fill the niche vacated by the FE167/207.
Price for 166/165 is $310 /pr, 206/225 is $360 /pr for a fully done up set, Prices
on other drivers on request.
Optional basket stiffening is an additional $50/pr -- this is of benefit in only
the highest resolution systems.
Order to ship is typically on the order of 6 weeks, althou we often have pairs of
the more popular drivers on hand.
Fostex has shuffled their lineup. FE167eN is limited to what i stocked up on (3 pair
as of this writing). FE207eN is gone.
Drivers have the cones treated, EnABLed phase plugs installed (FE166/206), optional
basket stiffening & streamlining of the rear. Pairs are matched as best i can
when i have more than 2 to match from. |
