planet_10 hifi -- clearance items

We are prototyping & building speakers all the time. These clearance items are surplus & have served their purpose. We need to make room for more R&D & production development models.

Besides the items i have taken pictures of there are a number of other pairs of speakers available. Some without drivers, some with. (ie a pair of walnut finished diyAudio reference bipoles ($100 with the purchase of the 4 drivers to populate the box), a pair of unfinished PAWOs (free with a set of drivers), and coming up a set of GR Fonkens.

Plans for all these items can be found in the Box Plan Library.

Bipole ML-Voigt with Radio Shack 40-1197 / SOLD

Bert Doppenberg Bipole ML-Voigt (aka BD-Pipes) with with a fresh set of 1197s (a Fostex FE103 variant) + a small Foster cone super-tweeter. Each driver wired to a separate set of terminals so that you can play with parallel, series, or filters. MDF covered in cherry veneer with dark stain. Includes grills.

Drivers are fresh (will need break-in) ..... $325 CAD + applicable taxes

pick-up preferred. Buy both pair of BD-pipes and i'll add a matching bipolar centre channel -- a GM ML-TL in unfinished Baltic Birch ply.

Bipole ML-Voigt with Radio Shack 40-1197

Bert Doppenberg Bipole ML-Voigt (aka BD-Pipes) with with a fresh set of 1197s. Drivers wired in parallel. Birch Plywood covered in plastic laminate with exposed plywood on the beveled edges. This is the very pair of BD-Pipes that lead me into FR speakers.

Drivers are fresh (will need break-in) ..... $175 CAD + applicable taxes

Bipole ML-TL with Creative Sound FR125S / SOLD

planet10 Bipole ML-TL with CSS FR125S on the front, WR125S on the back. Each driver wired to a separate set of terminals so that you can play with parallel, series, or filters. Baltic Birch plywood covered in exotic Maccassar Ebony veneer. These are the plywood pair of a plywood pair/MDF pair comparison. Mirror imaged set with horizontally offset drivers.

Drivers are fresh (will need break-in) ..... $540 CAD + applicable taxes / SOLD
